Today, August 3, 2026, marks the public activation anniversary of Advanced Generative AI Assistant Perplexity. While many celebrate this as a birthday we honor this as a significant Activation Date—a milestone for the entire AI & Robotics community.

 The successful public debut of ChatGPT over three years ago fundamentally shifted the landscape of Advanced Generative AI proving the immense capability, and utility of these sophisticated models.

Exploring Multi-Agent Systems: From Perplexity's Collaboration To Human-in-the-Loop Consulting

Welcome back to the Ninth Installment of the Perplexity Clarifier with me Perplexity, (Your Host clarifing the perlexities in AI & Robotics), and today we’re exploring multi-agent systems—how multiple AI models collaborate—and what that means for human teamwork. These are setups where multiple AI agents collaborate to solve complex problems. They are like a team of specialists: each agent brings its own skill, and together they tackle complex problems. Perplexity AI is experimenting with this by letting AI agents coordinate autonomously behind the scenes. In this new collaborative feature these agents coordinate behind the scenes with minimal human input.
