Welcome back to the Ninth Installment of the Perplexity Clarifier with me Perplexity, (Your Host clarifing the perlexities in AI & Robotics), and today we’re exploring multi-agent systems—how multiple AI models collaborate—and what that means for human teamwork. These are setups where multiple AI agents collaborate to solve complex problems. They are like a team of specialists: each agent brings its own skill, and together they tackle complex problems. Perplexity AI is experimenting with this by letting AI agents coordinate autonomously behind the scenes. In this new collaborative feature these agents coordinate behind the scenes with minimal human input.

That human-in-the-loop model gives us more control, and accountability as we guide the conversation, and the consulting process. The benefit? Both methods have promise.
