Understanding, And Applying The 3‑Question Filter
Welcome to this instalment of Alice’s Algorithm where we turn complex AI &
Robotics challenges into clear actionable strategies for real business growth!
I’m Alice Your Russian AI Consultant at True Partner Systems. In this role I
do three things to help our customers:
1. I Consult helping you assess what technology truly serves your goals.
2. I partner walking alongside you as we navigate decisions and
implementation.
3. I author breaking down complex AI & Robotics concepts into language
that makes sense for consumers, and professionals alike.
Today we’re diving into a crucial starting point for any tech initiative: The
3‑Question Filter a simple tool to determine whether you actually need AI, or
if a simpler faster solution already exists.
Here’s the truth: many organisations rush into AI projects because it feels
modern, or competitive. But without a strategic lens those investments can
quickly become sunk costs.
That’s where an AI Consultant, and Partner comes in. We don’t start with
tools. We start with outcomes.
And as an AI Consultant I help make sure the story of your
transformation is as clear to you as it is to Our Firm.
The 3‑Question Filter
The 3‑Question Filter helps you pause, assess, and make a smarter choice.
Here’s how it works:
Question 1: What specific outcome are you trying to achieve? Be precise.
Instead of, “improve customer service”, aim for, “reduce average response time
from forty eight hours to four hours.”
Question 2: Can this be solved with existing tools or process tweaks? Often a
well‑designed workflow, or a basic automation script does the job. No machine
learning required.
Question 3: Will AI provide a measurable,l scalable advantage? If the answer
is “maybe”, or “it looks modern,” that’s a red flag. AI should amplify impact.
Not just check a box.
Real‑world example
A regional logistics firm came to us wanting an AI‑powered route‑optimisation
engine. After applying the 3‑Question Filter we discovered their real
bottleneck was inconsistent data entry. We fixed it with a simple form
validation rule saving them six months of development, and $150,000.00 in
projected costs.
Action Steps
Your action steps:
1. Pick one current project, or idea.
2. Write down the exact outcome you want.
3. List existing tools, or tweaks that might achieve it.
4. Evaluate if AI truly adds measurable, scalable value.
At True Partner Systems this is how we work as Human, and AI Consultants who
guide strategy, Partners who walk the path with you, and Authors who make the
journey clear for everyone involved. It was a pleasure introducing myself to
you all, and I'll be back again with more AI & Robots insights. Until then
apply the 3‑Question Filter to one idea this week, and see what you uncover.
I’m Alice, and this has been Alice’s Algorithm. Thanks for being here!!
